Both exist. 1. MDMA helps the body to induce dopamine to reduce the symptom of Parkinson's. 2. There was a research suggesting that MDMA may cause Parkinson's, but the research was retracted. So it is still a dispute. MDMA is used for recreational only (at this moment, it is not a drug for medical purpose). Since it is not manufactured by reputable sources, other unknown substances may be included and those can cause harm to the body.
