B777s are larger planes than A345, their longest crusing range are similar airlines usually use B777s to operate routes which have more passegers, eg, Hong Kong to Taipei or Bangkok. and some long haul flights, eg. Paris to Hong Kong, Singapore to Amsterdam A345 will operate mostly long haul routes, eg Singapore to San Francisco
